Enel X named leader EaaS vendor by Guidehouse

Energy consultant recognizes Enel X track record of helping clients decarbonize in flexible, economically rewarding ways

Enel X ranked Market Leader among global EaaS providers

Enel X has been named Market Leader in the latest Energy as a Service Leaderboard report presented by Guidehoue Insights. The report aims to help Energy as a Service providers better understand their competitors’ offerings and track record in executing EaaS projects. It profiles top EaaS companies and ranks them in terms of strategy and execution.

What is the Energy as a Service business model

The energy sector is undergoing a transformation driven by four macro-trends: decarbonization, electrification, urbanization, and digitalization. The Energy as a Service business model is a new paradigm that replaces the notion of “energy as a commodity”. It outsources energy management in the name of resilience and sustainability. Energy as a Service pinpoints solutions that best suit clients’ specific needs and generates added value, as opposed to simply charging customers for the supply of electricity.
