SGEf: energy consumption efficiency expands
A smart energy management platform for multi-site business customers has got tongues wagging. Since its launch in Spain a decade ago, Servicio de Gestión Eficiente (Efficient Management Service - SGEf) has become a shining example of best practice and was recently exported not just to Romania but also to five Latin American countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Peru.
What is SGEf and how it works
SGEf helps multi-site customers with five or more points of delivery (PODs) to manage and optimize their energy consumption in an efficient, centralized fashion. It uses a single tool backed up by a call center with a dedicated personal coordinator exclusive to each company. SGEf compiles tailored reports even when a company’s PODs are located in different cities. It can also compare consumption at different sites and identify inefficiencies based on similar facility sizes and employee numbers.
Growth, efficiency and sustainability
In a mere nine months SGEf has welcomed over 40 new business customers. These include pharmaceuticals, telephone companies, shopping malls, banks, supermarkets and public administrations, with more than 3,400 PODs managed through the platform. Thanks to its smart and innovative solutions, the Enel X ecosystem continues to grow in the name of efficiency and sustainability.
